In Urban Communities alike around the world, there is poverty, struggle, violence and hardship. Even still, it is a community of beautiful people who have their own story. At Life Skills Organization, we want to be apart of provoking positive change and making a difference by teaching life skills that can be leveraged for financial empowerment.
Life Skills Organization is a foundation that provides educational training in various skills that can be utilized for employment and/or freelance opportunities. We believe in equipping residents from urban communities with skills that can help alleviate poverty and stimulate economic growth in urban communities.With our unique serviced based  housing program,we rapidly house formally shelterless veterans, victims of domestic violence,re-entry,and TAY . We provide supportive services as participant(s) stabilize and elevate to the next component of the program. Participant(s) resulting housing status with either permanent housing or home ownership.We also have collabrative community arts events, creating positive spaces within the community, by connecting local businesses,art vendors and performers, with unique cultural arts events within the community. LSO also has a streamline connection with an accredited University for those who choose to engage in our Higher Learning program, to further their education.
